Prepare for Griffith College

Advice to make sure that you hit the ground running.

Hit the Ground Running

Whether you’re a student from just down the road or the other side of the world, it’s important to have everything prepared before you head off to Griffith College. That way, you can enjoy your big adventure without worrying about the little details.

All Students Should:

  • Enrol in your courses and choose your timetable: We open enrolment weeks before term commences so you can get ahead and choose the timetable that best suits you.
  • Check important dates
  • Get your finances sorted
  • Secure your accommodation
  • Get to know your campus and how to get to and from
  • Attend orientation

International Students Should Also:

  • Understand student visa conditions
  • Arrange flights and airport pick up to be settled in before orientation

Enrol in Your Course

If you haven’t yet accepted your offer, check your offer email or letter, as it will explain how to do so. Once you’ve accepted, you can choose your timetable, either online using the Digital Campus or at Orientation Week, where we have registration sessions.

Explore the Digital Campus

Once enrolled*, you will be able to explore your Digital Campus, check your course and unit details, sign up for classes, as well as print exam timetables, see results, re-enrol and pay your fees.

*Our Withdrawal, Deferral and Leave of Absence Policy outlines the conditions and circumstances for when a student requests to withdraw, defer, or take a leave of absence from their program of study.

Check Important Dates

  • Knowing all the key dates for exams, fees, study breaks and events will help you stay ahead in your study. The first date for your diary is ‘O’ week, which helps you find your way around before study starts.
  • Download the latest academic calendar
  • Keep the PDF file on your phone for easy reference
